Where is West?

Now the last post was perhaps interesting, but where and how does it fit into our present timeline of reality?

Remember I have declared through interpretation that America will become subject to a new king of an entirely new Empire.
I have suggested that king will be Islam. (though I have not yet provided documentation or significant evidence).

Presently America is by far the world leader in technology and infrastructure.
The most technologically advanced satellite programs are still sourced in America.
I have suggested that Islam will be the authority governing the use of the proposed surveillance system. And I now will show the reason why I believe this will actually be based in the U.S.A.
My study of this concept is extensive and so I pared it down for this blog.

Zechariah 8:7-8 “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save 3467 my people from the east 4217 country, and from the west country;” 3996,8121
“and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem:…”

Note this verse is not generalizing, it does not speak of plural or generic countries of the east or west, it is being very specific of the country in the east, and the country in the west.
Note also that Hebrew scripture (nearly all of the old testament) always refers to direction relative to Israel. (thank you Chuck Missler for explaining this) This understanding opens many previously un-interpretable prophecies.

I will not bore you with the research to show the three words ‘west’ used in the OT.
One refers to Local west as it relates to Israel. 3220
The second refers to the general direction of the evening sun. 4628 to include Europe.
The third use of the word west, which is used in this verse, is only used twice in scripture.
I will expound on this word:

West 3996 mabow; from 395; an entrance (the place or the act); specifically (with or without 8121) sunset or the west; also (adv. with prep.) towards; Explanatory words - by which came, as cometh, in coming, as men enter into, entering, entrance into, entry, where goeth, going down, westward.
395 akzriyuwth from 394; fierceness - cruel.
394 akzariy, from 393; terrible; - cruel (one).
393 akzar, from an unused root (apparently meaning to act harshly); violent; by implication deadly;
8121 shemesh; from an unused root meaning to be brilliant; the sun; by implication the east; figuratively a ray, i.e. (arch.) a notched battlement

The combination of these two words are used only twice in scripture.
The meaning then is; ‘the direction in which the sun sets.’
Reading this definition into the passage, it reads;

‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the country whose direction is where the sun sets, if you are observing from Israel.’

I did not at first understand how the root of the word west could have anything to do with cruelty, terrible, harsh, violent, or deadly. Nor could I understand how the east could be implicated in a definition of the west!
But following this search, the hidden meaning of these roots to the word ‘west’ becomes clear! This meaning has terrifying implications.

Not posting the extensive research to track the possibility that God has in history saved his people from the west, I simply post here that God has never rescued, or saved his people from any country in the west.
If we are to assume this passage is speaking of Germany as the west country, it is ignoring Russia, and Italy, the Ottoman Empire and other Axes countries from which the Jews needed to be saved. Though the horrors were stopped, the Jews were left to wander the world homeless. Therefore this present interpretation is not accurate regardless how close it might be. God has still another event in mind.

There is of course only one continent collection that can be actually called the setting sun west. These are the Americas. But of those continental nations, America is globally, most commonly referred to as the west.
Further I submit that history shows the significant intent of evil to always corrupt fully what once was godly. America had boasted of her Christianity for nearly 200 years. I doubt seriously that there is a single nation on the planet that does not recognize America as Christian… Excluding America of course!

Because of her current abandonment of her God, I submit that evil will overtake America to the fullest extent.
Islam is of course currently attempting the domination of the entire globe, but the conquest of America has a special interest for them.
Does it not appear that regardless of whom is in power, we are slowly or quickly opening our doors to Islam because we simply refuse to recognize the enemies of God?

I am suggesting that America will become that nation in the west of whom the LORD himself will need to rescue his people because of great harm.

How much worse could it get than the Holocaust of WWII, where a full 1/3 of all Jews were killed?
It pains me to remind you of Zechariah 13:8 “And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.” and the passage goes on through the next chapter to describe the horrors.

Sadly the horrors of the Jews are not finished.
But for all those “Replacement” theologists, I submit the promise in the very next verse;
Zechariah 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”

So when is all this supposed to happen?

I submit that the book of Zechariah is a timeline of specifics in a chronological order, which is even now finally being fulfilled.
This is our time, and what the world can expect in our near future.

Therefore the horrors identified in this passage of chapter 13 will not fully come until the events in the previous chapters occur. (more on these previous events to come in future posts) but the events must have a beginning and so it has begun.
