Why You?

post 101

So now you gotta be asking yourself the same question I am;

“If this message is really from God, why would he send it through a nobody who has 7 official readers?”

The answer is sure to make you mad;

“Because God doesn’t want you to get the message.”

Let me explain:
Remember I already showed that Prophecy is not given for the purpose of changing events before they happen, but to prove that God is the author of the events which he designed before they happen.
This is why God can say He will destroy America, but the actual events leading to our destruction are wholly ours.
(I know, kind of hard to grasp both ideas in one, but that’s because it is only possible to pull off, if you are God.)

God long tolerates ignorant sin, but God does not wink at willful sin. Acts 17:30
As a nation;
We have the history of the Jews as our Nebuchadnezzar example.
We have our own history of success when we followed God as a nation.
But we have chosen instead to cast off God, yet up until now we have kept his name, shaming him before the world for our conduct.
Finally, we elected a leader whom has shown himself to gravitate toward the enemies of God, and declare to the world we are no longer a Christian nation.

God is Angry.
How Angry?
Angry enough He intends to destroy America, and doesn’t want our appeal to change his mind!
So he hid his message with an unlikely nobody who is trying hard not to be a prophet…
Yet none the less willing to pass on the message he is told to send.

So where is my scriptural precedent for such an idea?

* * *

Jesus had a habit of speaking to the Jews in parables.
Remember in a recent post I said the Jews had no problem understanding the function of miracles, but they had other problems?
One of the main problems they have, is that they can’t easily grasp the concepts of analogy. Us gentiles do real well with such concepts. We can hear a story and immediately get the meaning and accurately apply it to something completely different than the story, because we get the point.
Jews? Not so much.
Again, this is not something to criticize, just an observation of the way things are.
Every peoples have their strengths and their weaknesses.

So Jesus’ disciples couldn’t figure out why Jesus would talk to the masses in a way they could not grasp:

“And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?” Matthew 13:10

“He answered and said unto them, Because it is give unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given….”

Well that sounds mean, why would he say that?

“For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.” *1

“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”
Matthew 13:11-15

What?!

First note: Although you might not understand why or what he just said, we need to stay on track and realize my present concept has clear validity in both Old (Isaiah) and New (this passage) Testaments, and on top of that… by Jesus himself… All in one passage.

* * *
Oh how I would love to go into the rabbit trails of God’s big plan in allowing us Gentiles into the faith through the blindness and rejection of the messiah by the Jews, which was the result of the events in this passage. (thus the parables)
Or the other trail of why God’s perspective is 180 degrees from the progressive “Share The Wealth” plan.

* * *

But we must stay on track here and see that God sent his present message through a nobody, with no readers,
for the intended purpose that now it is Americas time to not get the message, understand the concept, and repent, thereby breaking the heart of God and causing him to forgive.
He used a nobody in our case, in stead of parables, because America's weakness is; a respect for fame.
Same results with different tools for a different people.

Why wouldn’t he want us to repent and be saved?
Not because he wants us to suffer, he doesn’t.
But because the big plan he laid out before the foundation of the word is right on track.
America can’t repent because her time has come.

Oh don’t start with the “whose fault is it then?” circle!
Just as the car accident kills your friend and you go down the unanswerable spiral; “IF”
This never helps and only prolongs the pain. It was time. That is all.
America has got herself into this mess. And as a nation she will not repent, also by her own choice.
But God knows the beginning from the end. He didn’t really make it happen, but he knew it would. That’s because he is not constrained inside our time domain.
THAT is what makes prophecy so amazing when it is fulfilled.
It shows that his Word is true, and he is God.

So why again doesn’t he want America to hear the warning?
So that she would not do as Nineveh did, and repent.

And why wouldn’t he want that?
First and foremost is because she deserves the punishment.
But also because it would mess up the pre-recorded history.
“then lets do it!”
Sure go ahead. You are free to do just that.
But unlike the movies, history is already written, and because you only have one chance at it, what is written is final because history is just a recording of what you do. Perhaps this could change if you had a time machine, but I’m pretty sure you don’t.
The closest thing you can do to change history is to read this warning, and choose to repent and save your soul. but if you do that it will already be written in his book so you see, either way the choice is yours, and either way he has it written already!
The difference is that presently you cant read the part about you, but we can read the bits he sent us! History is the parts that have passed, Prophecy is pre-recorded history.

What pre-recorded history?
Oh I am glad you asked!
LORD willing, I will begin soon this whole study of amazing events in our very near future, and how it relates to the soon fall of America.
Believe me, it is not pretty, but it is history… Just not yet.

* * *
But getting back the point of this post;

Why then, if this is all true, and he doesn’t want America to repent, would he tell me about it at all, and why would he want me to pass it on?

For a number of reasons:

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7

This means that if he was going to destroy America, He would tell his prophets.

But why would he?
Perhaps to prove after the fact that it is all in His big picture plan.
and certainly because there are a few whom God has called who will hear the warning and come to Him in repentance.
Our job is to become a player on his team in His big picture.
God wants each of us saved from the big picture results.

America might not repent as a nation, but each of us has an opportunity to surrender ourselves to Him and be saved. Jew or Gentile, Muslim or Frenchman, male or female God loves each of us and is begging us to hear the warning of those he sent us. If you listen their voice is crying from everywhere such as my blog, a good TV preacher among the many false ones, even Glenn Beck on national TV is preaching the gospel of repentance.
Cry out to God and he will save you.

“For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one spirit.”
I Corinthians 12:13
“Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” Colossians 3:11

*1 This anti “Share The Wealth” concept from Jesus shows God’s heart in the matter.
The point Jesus was making is that the Jews had all the information they needed, Scripture and prophets and example and miracles, but chose to cast it off and ended up empty.
Because they were empty they would remain empty and the little they thought they had was taken away as well. This represents that they had the sacrifices to count on, and Jesus was the much greater sacrifice. But because they rejected the greater, he took away the sacrifices they had by the destruction of the temple in 70 AD.
The Gentiles who had only a little by the scraps from the Jewish faith, but that little was actually a pure heart, which is the sum, they were then given more as Jesus sent his gospel to save them. The gentile world has now had all the success which was meant for the Jews but they rejected.
